An account is a handle plus one or more passkeys. We store the public key, not a password. Chat and voice run only after you turn presence on in the desktop app.

The desktop app reads the symbol of the chart you are viewing from TradingView Desktop so it can put you in the matching room. It does not send prices, intervals, positions, or TradingView session tokens. A TradingView username shown in the app is read locally and is unverified.

Voice is off until you unmute. Mute closes the microphone track.
